There will be a mystery poem and a mystery short story. You will have to provide written responses. We will do a practice short story as a class on Monday and I have a attached a practice poem below with hints and strategies. The practice ones aren't really mysteries but will help you none the less. You will need to know what a red herring is.

Today we are reading "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe. We'll read the story and then discuss and fill out the mystery sheets.
