Your next challenge is to look into the effects of bokeh in photography. So far our projects have focused on perspective and exploring different ways of looking at subjects, while also developing an eye for lighting, background and rule of thirds.
Looking at bokeh will help you develop a better understanding of aperature and depth of field. This will be a self-directed project, however, working with a partner may help you be more successful. In order to understand the effects of bokeh and the camera settings you will need, you’ll have to do a little bit of research on what it is and how to achieve it. You may not understand all the terms in the article, so you may have to do more research. You can explore bokeh in everyday photographs, o create bokeh shapes. You will need to take notes and put them in a document in your folder. Here are some links to get you started:
Understanding these aspects of the camera and photography will make you a better photographer. It’s easy for everyone to pick up a camera and take pictures, but it is more difficult to take interesting pictures! You may have to use a different lens and settings for this project, your research will help you figure out what you need. HAVE FUN!
